Tell the world your story: The Power of Good Testimony

For other people who haven’t read the bible, your life is their clue. As a Christian, you create an impression in the life of other people in the way you act, behave, make a decision and even how you mingle with other people. It creates an impression in them. Your life will be under scrutiny because they are looking for traces, for a proof that will lead them to the truth.

More than the words you say, your actions speak louder than words. Your life is a letter from Christ. But it doesn’t mean you will fake your action or you will be a people pleaser. It must come from within, the truth you believe in must be written in your heart and imprinted in your mind. That’s who you are whether there are people looking or not. Tell the world your story, even a single voice creates a noise. If you want to create influence on the lives of other people, just fulfill you biblical duty and God will do the rest. How to have Powerful Testimony?

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and  read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.-2 Corinthians 2:3-4

1. Let the Word of God become flesh in your life
The word becomes flesh and made his dwelling among us (John 1:14). The word of God is not just meant to be read, listened or just heard, it should be applied. It should become flesh and be manifested in your deeds, words and way of life. Don’t be a hypocrite whose words and deeds don’t align perfectly, who said they love God but don’t do his commands. Let His Word minister to your life that will lead to a greater revelation.

2. Let the Spirit of God dwell in you
The Spirit of God will make it clear to you and will reveal to you the things of the Spirit. Let it dwell in you. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14).

3. Let His Ways be imprinted in your heart
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8). There are things that you desire but are not pleasing to God, you just need to submit your ways to Him, demolish every argument and take captive every thought make it obedient in Christ.

4. Let God mold you into a masterpiece
But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him (Jeremiah 18:4). Like a potter working on his masterpiece, God will also craft your life into the best life that you could ever think or imagine. You might not understand it right now, there may be pain of changes, but it will all make sense when the whole masterpiece is finished.

5. Let God be God in your life
Let God be God and man be man. Submit to Him and he will make your paths straight.  God has come to give you life, a life to the fullest.  Apart from God, you can do nothing. Don’t live a life far from God and make so many futile attempts for it only leads to destruction.

Many people live to die, but I die to live.

This is the most encouraging word I’ve read all morning. Nothing like practicing what you preach. 🙂 We are an open book. We don’t need to call ourselves by any name. In fact, I’ve stopped. The name is confusing when so many abuse it. I want to live in such a way that the Life just shines out of it. You’ve both written about this and exemplified it in this post. 🙂
